Cloud Launch in North America and Updates from Around the Globe
Steve Garrou inspired the crowd with the launch of BlueSky, our Cloud and Service management platform, at the November North America customer event, CONNECT. Influenced by the tenacity of innovators who refuse to do things the way they’ve always been done, Steve shared our unique strategy behind the Cloud Practice and BlueSky. After his presentation, and getting to see BlueSky in action for themselves, half of the customers attending the event expressed interest in our Cloud Practice and in our new Jumpstart program.
In Latin America, we have now signed our first Microsoft Cloud Service Provider (CSP) license. We are preparing for our BlueSky launch in both Brazil and Colombia in the next few months, supporting Microsoft cloud and Azure solutions.
On the other side of the globe, the New Zealand Cloud Practice marked its one-year anniversary. Generating six figures in sales monthly, the team achieved more than 200 percent of its AWS (Amazon IaaS) target. Five months after launching cloud in Australia, we are adding new cloud transactions every week.
Our Middle East/Africa team is delivering on cloud as well, having recently won three Microsoft awards for our excellence in delivering cloud strategies around Microsoft and our ability to drive value through distribution.
Global Services Guy Explains It All
One of our greatest opportunities for expanding revenue is our Services Practice. Over the past year, there has been strong performance in delivering our Services business, both in Technical and Supply Chain Services, as well as nice traction with our Financial Services. Our Services business delivers very strong margins for us, so growing our delivered Services will remain a key priority this year and beyond.
